Why Childrenās Ministry: Here at Parkview Evangelical Free Church, our goal in Children's Ministry is to help kids and families be transformed by Christ and invested in others. We seek to do this by making God known, helping kids grow, and empowering every believer at every stage to go and tell others the good news of Jesus Christ (Psalm 78:4-7; Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Timothy 3:14-15). Everyone at every stage is made, known, and loved by God. It is our joy and privilege to partner with families in proclaiming Christ to kids in our church and community.
What We Do in Childrenās Ministry at Parkview: In all that we do with Childrenās Ministry at Parkview, we want to foster environments where kids can know God, grow in Him, and go and tell others the good news of Jesus. Childrenās Ministry at Parkview has several regular weekly programs during the school year:
- On Sundays, kids ages 3 years - 5th grade can join us during our Sunday School hour (9:00-10:00am) for a deeper dive into biblical content in age-specific classrooms.
- After that, kids in preschool - 5th grade are invited to jump into our Childrenās Church program which runs concurrent to our Sunday Worship Service (Sundays, 10:15-11:30am). During Childrenās Church, kids will have Bible teaching, interactive activities, worship time, and more as we seek to cultivate Christian community and biblical literacy among our kids.
- During the weekdays, we would love to have you join us for AWANA on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm. AWANA is for kids ages 3 years - 5th grade, and is a time where kids come together for Scripture memory, games, Bible teaching, and more!
- Other events or opportunities that come up throughout the year will be announced along the way.
